Sports and Leadership Training for Cambodian Youth

SALT (Sports and Leadership Training) Academy develops young leaders through a sustainable community-based football league, incorporating life skills lessons, vocational training, and community engagement.

We reach nearly 2,000 youths and 1,000 young adults across the three provinces of Battambang, Pailin and Poipet, in Northwest Cambodia. SALT’s Mighty Girls program contributes to increased acceptance  of woman’s football and prevents individual cases of human trafficking by  supporting exceptional young female players in education, training, and personal development.

Confidence, teamwork and leadership skills developed through sport are applied every day to other areas of life and work.
